Über mich / warum ich Nachhilfe erteile

I have always enjoyed helping others understand complex topics, especially in mathematics and science. Tutoring allows me to share not only my knowledge but also the logical thinking and problem-solving strategies that I developed during my academic and professional career. I believe that a good tutor doesn't just explain — they inspire curiosity and confidence. That’s why I’m excited to support students who need clear, structured explanations in a patient, supportive learning environment.

Ausbildung/ Erfahrung in Nachhilfe

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physics, a Master’s in Physics (Electrochemistry), and a PhD in Physics (Physical Chemistry, Li-Ion Batteries) from the Technical University of Munich. I have several years of teaching and tutoring experience across different levels. In my home country, I provided private tutoring in mathematics, geometry, and physics for high school students. Later, during my PhD in Germany, I supported both bachelor’s and master’s students. This included leading tutorials and exercises for three semesters in Photochemical Energy Conversion and Artificial Photosynthesis, as well as one semester in Experimental Physics for Chemical Engineering. I also mentored six student groups in advanced laboratory physics (FOPRA) and supervised three master’s and five bachelor’s theses. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain complex topics in a structured and accessible way, tailored to each student’s needs.rnrnIf desired, I can provide an overview or documentation of my teaching activities during my PhD.

Berufserfahrung/ Spezialgebiete

My main subjects are mathematics (algebra and geometry) and physics. With my academic background and years of hands-on experience, I approach these topics not only with theoretical depth but also with practical clarity. I’ve worked extensively with equations, models, and real-world applications — from high school tutoring to advanced university-level instruction. This helps me adapt my explanations to each student’s level and needs. I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation, which I believe is key to long-term understanding and success. If needed, I can also provide tutoring at the bachelor level; however, this would require a prior discussion regarding terms and pricing, as university-level support involves significantly deeper understanding and greater preparation. I offer tutoring in both English and Turkish.
